This blog is officially on indefinite hiatus, as the void left by its inactivity has been excellently filled by a new confessions blog, which is where you should direct you confessions from now on: http://confessionsfromafruitsbasket.tumblr.com
However, this blog will still remain online for the foreseeable future, so you can still browse it.
My apologies to anyone whose confessions were not posted.
Thank you to everyone for following and contributing.
Anonymous said: K so, I was just wondering... do you know what happened to Natsuki Takaya's style near the end of Fruits Basket? It got so awkward and not-pretty looking. I was wondering, do you know why this happened?
well, YMMV because I think her artwork gets a lot better as the story progresses and is wonderful at the end of the series. Everyone has a different opinion. The series was being created over an 8-year period so her art style was bound to change. Some people say it is because she injured her drawing hand badly around the time of Volume 6 and I think that may have played a small part but either way the artwork underwent a gradual progression in style and I think it was going to no matter what. Hope that answered your question :)
